it's pretty obvious that the Smith PR campaign has finally picked up the pace. Normally I wouldn't rain on his parade, but Alias ought to know better than to infer that my freshly-designed manifolds are not a direct bolt-up replacement or that stock intake plumbing is not compatable. The reason my new design will be the new "standard" for the Z32 is because I have corrected the 15 year-old, obsolete turbo housing postion. The compressor housings remain in the original position, presenting no challenge to the intake piping. Alias is correct about the dp's: they need to be changed to accomodate the corrected turbo flange angles. Any TT owner knows that dp's are one of the first minor upgrades to improve performance and need to be purchased anyway. Plans are in motion to make these available for almost half the price of competitive 4 or 5 bolt pipes. Mike has done some fine work, and I have commended him from the beginning. Unfortunately, it has taken a long time to develop his stock replacement manifolds and his willing partner's cheerleading has created a pretty harsh climate for fresh ideas. I welcome a discussion, but will not stand by and be misrepresented...I've worked too hard and spent too much to try to improve the performance of the Nissan 300ZX TT. The truth is all I ask for, Thanks, Jon Abeler, Abeler Automotive Engineering (AAE)
